I showed too much SS wages and taxes on my 1st Qtr 941. I showed too little of the same on my 3rd Qtr 941. The amounts cancelled each other out completely, and my full year 2019 SS wages and taxes are 100% correct.
I still need to file the 941-x’s to correct the Medicare parts.
But since the total SS wages and taxes are correct for 2019, can I skip them when filing the 941-x’s and just work on the Medicare parts?
My reason for not wanting to show the SS parts is to avoid having to send a payment for the 3rd Qtr underpayment, when the overpayment from the 1st Qtr essentially cancels it out.
