About a year ago I created an online account on http://www.irs.gov, and used it to monitor their receipt of my mailed-in tax return.
Now when I try to login I get the following error message: “<span style=”font-family: Times;”>You don’t have permission to access “http://sa.www4.irs.gov/eauth/DasFcc/das.fcc” on this server. </span><span style=”font-kerning: none;”>Reference #18.65f7df17.1649823996.105f2f0d</span>”
Does anybody have any idea what is going on? I have tried several times over several different days.
They are now offering the new option of “Sign in with ID.me”, but to do that you have to create a new account, and I’d rather not go through that again. I’d rather just stick with my existing username and password for the time being, if possible.
I was hoping to file my return online for the first time, but this seems like a big impediment to that.
