Form 56 is a Notice Concerning Fiduciary Relationship. The instructions include “Lines 3 and 4. Check the appropriate box(es) indicating the type of tax and forms you will be filing in performance of your fiduciary duties.”

Should one check all boxes that might possibly be applicable or only the boxes for taxes that will be due and forms that will be filed?

This is for a testate estate.

    from instructions:

    “”Section B. Nature of
    Liability and Tax Notices
Lines 3 and 4. Check the appropriate
box(es) indicating the type of tax and
forms you will be filing in performance of
    your fiduciary duties.”

If you take these words literally, sounds like the forms you will be filing so it might be good to spend sometime
up front figuring out which those are. If later, something turns up and you have to file addition forms, you can probably submit w/ an explanation.
