I have several mutual funds held in a brokerage acct. along with a couple of stocks. When I reviewed they all seem to have about the same rating through places like Morningstar. 3 or 4 stars. a couple were lower than rest. Would it be best to take a % of each Mutual fund or just say take 500 out of this one, etc, etc. btw there are more mutual funds than the RMD amount needed.

Because you’re asking about RMD, I assume the brokerage account is an IRA account. In that case, the tax consequences will be the same regardless of what assets you liquidate to create funds for your distribution. Consider what mix of assets will best fit your investment objectives, and plan your liquidation to produce that mix.
