succeeding Roth beneficiaries

Ignoring the possibility of new legislation, is there a limit on the number of succeeding beneficiaries of a ROTH IRA? Can one ROTH IRA carry down multiple generations until it is used up or is there currently a regulation which limits this?

There is no limit to how many times a Roth or TIRA can pass to different beneficiaries. However, for a non spouse beneficiary the RMD divisor used by the first beneficiary continues to be reduced by 1.0 for each successive year. The ages of later beneficiaries does not matter and they are not allowed to use their own life expectancies.
