Return Preparers to Pay $64.25: All paid tax return preparers will have to pony up $64.25 for 2011 as a registration fee. And yes, this includes all you CPAs and tax lawyers who prepare tax returns.
FTD Goes Paperless: If you’re using paper coupons to make federal tax deposits, prepare for a change, as the IRS will require all these deposits to be made electronically next year. This doesn’t apply to individuals filing their income tax returns, however.
